Byron Lange
Byron's career has developed in several settings since coming to the UK from NZ in 2000. He started out working in the homelessness field in London and then was at the forefront of drug addiction services being rolled out in Primary Care in Birmingham. Byron experienced senior worker roles in the charitable sector and directly for the NHS during this time.
Byron is an Accredited Integrative Counsellor who first qualified 12 years ago. Since then, Byron has taken an interest in higher education, where he has worked in the more pragmatic role of a Mental Health Mentor and continues to work as a Student Counsellor.
Byron describes working Integratively as having an interest in and the ability to facilitate the most helpful way of working. Whether this be working on symptom reduction and increasing stability, working with one’s inner child, making sense of the past, exploring existential concerns or working in a more action-focused way, Byron hopes to meet you where you are now and collaboratively work out your direction of travel.
