Fleur Atkinson

Fleur is a BACP-accredited psychodynamic counsellor offering a compassionate and reflective space for individuals seeking to understand and navigate emotional challenges. Her approach invites clients to explore how early experiences shape their sense of self and their relationships with others.

The therapeutic relationship is built on trust and emotional safety, providing the space for meaningful questions to emerge, without the pressure of finding immediate answers. Fleur works at each client’s pace, grounded in curiosity and reflective exploration, offering both short- and long-term therapy depending on individual needs.

Currently undertaking further psychoanalytic training, including a two-year infant observation, Fleur has a particular interest in how early, often preverbal experiences shape relationships and one’s sense of self, and how these early experiences impact adult life. She integrates this insight into her work with clients where appropriate.
