Jenny Kentfield
Jenny is a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, registered with the BACP with several years of experience working with adults over 18. She tends to work open ended to allow each person to work at their own pace, although you may only want to commit to coming for some time limited sessions to focus on a particular issue and this can be agreed at the start.
Jenny understands that every client is different. She works from a psychodynamic approach, which, while looking at what your presenting issues are, is based on making links to past experiences. Certain events in the present or the past can trigger unwanted thoughts or overwhelming feelings and it is not always easy to talk to family or friends.
Jenny is not here to give advice, but is warm and empathic, where she aims to create a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings together.
