Gianna Daly

Gianna is a Chartered Psychologist with more than 25 years experience in providing psychological support to children adolescents and adults. She has a background of work in the NHS, Social Services, Charity organisations and private practice.

Gianna’s specialist interest is in child, adolescent and family work, and working with couples.

Gianna is widely experienced and understanding in child attachment difficulties, separation anxiety, bullying, sibling rivalry, ADHD, ASD, children’s anxiety and depression, child bereavement, separation and divorce and family related difficulties. 

She holds accredited post qualifying training in DDP (Dialectical Dyadic Psychotherapy) to support work with traumatically attached children, adopted and ‘Looked After Children’ and post grad certificates in arts psychotherapy integrating this into her work with children and adolescents.

A bit about me..

I am committed in promoting happy and fulfilling relationships and developing resilience in my work with children, parents and adults. I always try to ‘tune in’ to what the child or adult most needs, and create with them a program of support that most fits their particular difficulties.

I am widely experienced in working with groups, providing psychological training for professionals and offering supervision and team building. 

As a Chartered Psychologist, I am registered with The British Psychological Society and a Practitioner Psychologist registered with HCPC [Health Care Professions Council] and adhere to the BPS Code of Practice and Ethics. I am a BUPA, Cignia Healthcare and Ministry of Defence approved Psychologist. I hold a current DBS clearance

My Background and Experience

I hold a first degree in Business & Marketing and subsequently in Psychology, qualifying as a psychologist in 2004 from the University of Surrey (Roehampton).
