Hannah Barnes

Dr. Hannah Barnes is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of expertise in the NHS, education, and charity sectors. She specialises in working with trauma and PTSD, helping individuals process and move forward from past experiences that continue to affect their well-being. In particular, Hannah has experience in working with people who have experienced trauma in relation to their physical health or medical procedures. As an accredited EMDR Practitioner, Hannah has extensive experience using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to treat a wide range of trauma-related difficulties.

Beyond trauma-focused work, Hannah supports individuals facing common challenges such as anxiety, low mood, and stress. She has a particular interest in helping those who struggle with self-criticism, perfectionism, and difficulty ‘slowing down’—often individuals who are high achievers in work or education.

She offers both short-term and long-term therapy to suit each individual’s needs.
