Ashley provides an in-depth initial consultation in which to explore what brings you to therapy, determine what you would like to gain from therapy at this time, and establish what therapeutic approaches may be most helpful for you. From this you can make an informed decision as to whether the therapy feels right for you. As a Counselling Psychologist, Ashley applies a strong interdisciplinary focus on therapeutic
relationships and provides evidence-based and culturally-informed assessment and therapeutic intervention. Ashley’s practice takes consideration of the medical, systemic, and the wider social context and foundation to psychological health difficulties, and works with your unique psychological experience to empower your recovery and alleviate distress. Ashley holds a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, a Masters Degree in Health Psychology, a Level 3 Certificate in Counselling, and an Honours Degree in Psychology. Care Professionals Council) and adheres to the BPS (British Psychological Society) code of ethics and conduct.

"I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley. She has been an enormous help and support, in
both face-to-face and on-line sessions. She has gently, patiently and expertly guided and
encouraged me, helping me to get better, without ever making me feel inadequate,
embarrassed or uncomfortable. She has a remarkable ability to identify and address
personal experiences and issues. She is an outstanding professional, always with a kind and
caring approach to her work."

"My time with Ashley has improved my mental health dramatically. Ashley's kind, warm
demeanour enabled a trusted working relationship where I was comfortable to express. In
return, Ashley's insight and compassion articulated an understanding that I could identify
with, enabling me to learn about my health issues, how they impact me and the tools to
manage them.
I have gained a sense of freedom and confidence to live a happier life and be composed in
situations where I thought I couldn't be. An enlightening and freeing experience that I will
take with me for the rest of my life."

“I hadn’t sought therapy before. Dismissing it as a last resort or some kind of failure to solve
a problem myself. Ashley helped me immensely. First by guiding me through a tough spot,
then working with me to develop processes/ tools to ensure the kind of emotional stability I’d
always hoped for.
Couldn’t recommend her enough, thank you Ashley!”
