Leah Callebaut
Leah is a Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness Teacher who has worked within a variety of mental health services over the last 17 years. Leah and has a specialist interest in supporting people to heal from with burnout and trauma related experiences. She is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Association for Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA). Leah works both in private practice in central Cheltenham and for an NHS Staff Psychology Service within Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals.
Leah offers face-to-face and online psychological therapy for individuals (age 18+), including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). Leah provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore and understand a range of concerns. She will talk about psychological theory and skills in a simple and accessible way and aims to help people to recover from challenging events and better manage current difficulties within in their lives so that they can thrive again.

Therapy with Leah will be at your pace and the work is tailored to suit your specific needs and goals, drawing on ideas from several evidence-based therapies (e.g. Compassion Focussed Therapy, EMDR, Schema Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy).
In addition, Leah provides mindfulness and compassion courses and retreats in the local area to help people reduce stress, burnout and self-criticism and increase connection.
