Leah Callebaut

Dr Leah Callebaut is HCPC registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist and BAMBA registered mindfulness teacher. Leah provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for clients to explore and understand their current difficulties. She discusses psychological theory and skills in a
simple and accessible way to help people to better manage challenging life events and restore emotional well-being.


Over the last 10 years Leah has worked within a variety of NHS mental health and physical health psychology services, offering talking therapy and emotional support to individuals, couples and families. Since 2017 Leah has also run her own business (Heal.Feel.Connect.) offering psychological
therapy, mindfulness courses and retreat days in Cheltenham.

Leah works mainly with adults (18+) and offers face-to-face and online appointments.

For the last 7 years Leah has specialised in supporting people with long-term physical health conditions and health related trauma, including cancer, diabetes, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome/ME and Fibromyalgia. Leah also has special interests in PTSD, perinatal mental health and work-related stress. Leah offers a range of evidence-based therapies, including: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy.

She holds accredited post qualifying training in DDP (Dialectical Dyadic Psychotherapy) to support work with traumatically attached children, adopted and ‘Looked After Children’ and post grad certificates in arts psychotherapy integrating this into her work with children and adolescents.
